Funeral services for Jo Ann Lain, 88, of Burleson, Texas will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, August 30, 2021 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with Stephen Merrill officiating. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery with Travis Griffith, William Goains, Bobby Simmons, Aaron King, Jack Merrill, and Penn Merrill serving as pallbearers.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lain passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021, in Burleson, Texas. She was born in Cleburne, Texas to Norene (Melton) and Penn Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mary Jeanne Mahanay; and daughter, Rebecca Fraser.
Mrs. Lain is survived by her sons, David B. Merrill and wife, Linda and Stephen Merrill and wife, Cara; daughters, Marilee Greenwood and husband, Jimmy, and Larkanne Vella and husband, Charles; two nieces; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren.
