Louise BonTempo Laughlin
A memorial service will be held in the Keene Seventh-day Adventist Church on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 4:00 p.m.
Louise BonTempo Laughlin was born July 31, 1929, in Woodbridge, Connecticut, to James and Dora BonTempo. She studied nursing at Washington Missionary College in Takoma Park, Maryland, where she also met and married the love of her life, Joseph Laughlin. Louise worked as a registered nurse and as a nursing instructor while living in the Washington, DC area, and later as a consultant while living in Singapore. Louise moved with her husband to Keene, Texas in 1990. She enjoyed travel, cooking, reading, family, and her church family. As the sun was rising on July 7, 2017, Louise fell asleep in the hope of the soon return of Jesus Christ her Savior.
She was preceded in death in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.
Louise is survived by her husband, Joseph Laughlin; son, Russell Allen Laughlin and wife, Jeanne; daughters, Barbara Jean
(Laughlin) Petr and husband, Daniel, and Elizabeth Jo (Laughlin) White and husband, Randall; grandchildren, Elisabeth Joye Petr, Christopher Paul Petr and fiancée, Sabina Mauricio, Andrew Russell Laughlin and wife, Stefanie (Potter), Brian Randall White and wife, Dulce (Ruiz), Emily Jeanne Laughlin, and Lindsay Michele White and boyfriend, Jeremy Tiffany.
