Laura Michelle Hudson

Funeral services for Laura Michelle Dalby Hudson, 47, of Joshua, Texas will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2022 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service from 2 - 3 p.m.

She was born in Fort Worth on January 6, 1975, the daughter of Shirley (Eubank) and Rick Dalby.

Laura, a first responder and graduate from Joshua High School died suddenly on May 9, 2022. 

Laura is survived by her parents;  sister and brother-in-law, Trisha and Travis Gayler;  nephew Trevin Gayler; niece, Trinedy Gayler; brother, Rick T. Dalby II; children; K'la Hudson, Nathaniel Hudson,  Noah Hudson, and their father Daniel Hudson;and grandson Junior Hudson.

Laura graduated from Hill College as a licensed Paramedic and worked exclusively in healthcare. She had been employed by JPS Hospital, Cook Children's hospital, and CSL Plasma. 

Laura was a devoted mother, a doting grandmother, a loving daughter, a great friend and sister. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and especially her grandson. She was a lovely woman with a huge heart who had unending support even through the end. She spent the fall months doing craft shows with handmade crafts, making money to buy her children and grandchild Christmas presents each year. 

She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.
