Keene—A memorial service celebrating the life of Robert E. Lee, 84, of Keene, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, January 11, 2013 in the Keene Seventh-day Adventist Chapel.
There is no visitation.
Mr. Lee passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born in Wyandotte, Mich. on July 27, 1928, the son of Audra (Reichenbach) and Leonard C. Lee.
Mr. Lee served his country in the United States Army and was a physicist in the engineering field. Many knew him as a rocket scientist. He was a member of the Keene Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Mr. Lee was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Virginia Lee; brother, Ralph Lee; and second wife, Joan Lee.
He is survived by his son, Daniel Lee and wife, Maribel, of Florida; daughters, Laura Norvill and husband, Tim, of Florida and Linda Bossie and husband, Michael, of Joshua, Texas; and six grandchildren.
