Funeral services for James Albert Lewis, 90, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, October 18, 2019 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Donnie Cappers and the Rev. Otis H. Mann officiating.
Burial will follow at Laurel Land Cemetery in Fort Worth, Texas.
A visitation will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday, October 17, 2019 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Daniel Hall, Jason Hall, Cole Hall, Colin Hall, Dylon Hall and Donnie Johnson.
Mr. Lewis passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2019 in Fort Worth. He was born in Leonard, Texas on November 27, 1928, the son of Albie Ellen (Cantrell) and Hugh Milton Lewis.
James married Margie Marshall on June 25, 1949 in Alvarado, Texas. He was a machinist with Texas Steel for over 40 years and was a Southern Baptist.
Mr. Lewis was preceded in death by his parents; son, Richard Lee Lewis and grandson, Dillon Wayne McKinzie.
He is survived by his wife, Margie Lewis of Cleburne; son, Danny Hugh Lewis and wife, Michelle, of Alvarado; daughter, Jane Ann Hall and husband, Terry of Alvarado; grandchildren, Karen Jarvis and husband, Stevie, Sylvia Gibson, Jason James Hall and Daniel Lee Hall; 13 great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
