Ernest Lombard

Funeral services for Ernest L. Lombard, 92, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 9, 2015 at the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Mansfield, Texas. Pastor Sean Harris will officiate. Burial will follow in the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Mr. Lombard passed away Thursday, July 2, 2015 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born in Wichita, Kansas on June 7, 1923, the son of Bernice (Jones) and Ernest H. Lombard.
Mr. Lombard proudly served our country in the United States Army. He married Beverly Smith on Jan. 7, 1967 in Imperial County, Calif. Mr. Lombard was a member of the Mansfield Seventh-day Adventist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly Lombard of Cleburne; sons, David Lombard and wife, Carolyn, of Ivanhoe, Calif., Dr. Kenneth Lombard and wife, Julie, of Portland, Maine, Lyle Lombard and wife, Vicki, of Portland, Texas and Marc Lombard and wife, Lisa, of London, Kentucky; daughters Pauline Kelly of Visalia, Calif., Tanya Shetler and husband, Loren, of Ruckersville, Virginia and Aimee Lombard of Glendale, Calif.; sisters, Darliene Gall of Parachute, Colorado and Loreita Harsany of Loveland, Colorado; 20 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
