Obituary for FRANCES SUE MAHAN (McAlister)
A Celebration of Life service for Frances Sue Mahan of Mansfield, Texas will be held on her birthday at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at 1606 Meadow Crest, Mansfield, Texas 76063, weather permitting.
Mrs. Mahan, 85, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2016 in Mansfield.
She was born May 4, 1930, the daughter of Minerva (Spires) and Will McAlister.
Mrs. Mahan was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Delton “Speedie” Mahan in February of 2011 and son, Roger Mahan in 2015.
Her ashes will be blended with theirs and scattered at Y Mountain, Arkansas when the daffodils are in bloom next spring.
She is survived by her sons, Don Mahan and wife, Dee, of Mansfield and Steve Mahan and Andra, of Burleson, Texas; grandchildren, Zach, Mitzi, Erin and Clay; eight
great grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Helen McAlister of Hot Springs, Arkansas.
