A memorial service for Mary Jeanne Mahanay, 82, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 20, 2012 at First Baptist Church following a family burial in Rosehill Cemetery. Dr. David Hardage and Dr. Danny Crosby will officiate. The family will receive visitors 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012 at Rosser Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers will be David Hardage, Clint Twaddell, Jr., John Hardage, Clinton Twaddell III, Mark Twaddell, and Robert Twaddell.
Mary Jeanne went home to be with the Lord on Feb. 17, 2012 in Cleburne, Texas. She was born Aug. 7, 1929 in Cleburne, Texas to Norene Melton and Pennington Jackson. Mary Jeanne married Bob Mahanay on March 4, 1950 in Cleburne. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband Bob Mahanay in June, 1990.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen and husband Dr. David Hardage of Waco, Martha and husband Dr. Clint Twaddell of Cleburne; grandchildren, John Hardage and wife Melissa, Rebekah Hardage, Clinton Twaddell III and wife Jean, Mark Twaddell, and Robert Twaddell; sister, JoAnn Lain of Burleson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
