Lavada Idella Malone (Bailey)

Service for Lavada Idella Malone, 91, of Joshua will be conducted at 3:00 P.M., Monday, July 29, 2019 at Lane Prairie Baptist Church, 421 CR 704 in Joshua. The Reverend Jerry Clements will officiate. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be William Blocker, Frankie Malone, Roy Coble, Derek Malone, Roy Malone, and Robert Malone. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 4-6:00 P.M., Sunday, at Rosser Funeral Home.
Lavada Idella Malone passed away Thursday, July 25, 2019 in Fort Worth. She was born September 9, 1927 in Anna Rose, Texas to Luevena (Strickland) and Garland Bailey Armstrong.
Idella was a retired nurse and was a member of Lane Prairie Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Malone; sons, Robert Martin and David Lee; and brother, Garland Bailey Jr.
Survivors include her sons, Melvin Malone and Ben Malone, both of Grandview, and Len Malone and wife Susan of Whitney; daughters, JoAnn Schisler and Patty Baze, both of Joshua, and Molly Kelly and husband Dennis of Cuero; 21 grandchildren; 72 great grandchildren; 49 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Novis Rathke of Three Rivers and Wynonna Schuenemann of George West; and a host of other relatives and friends.
