Graveside services for Morris Seaborn Mankins, 89, of Mansfield, Texas will be conducted at 10:15 a.m. Friday, April 29, 2016 at DFW National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas. Pastor Steve Smith will officiate. There will not be a set visitation.
Morris passed away on April 24, 2016 in Mansfield, Texas. He was born Sept. 14, 1926 in Cuthand, Texas to Lenora (Minshew) and Lester Otis Mankins. Morris retired from the United States Air Force where he served his country. He also was a hospital administrator in Fort Worth and Cleburne. Morris was a member of Central Baptist Church in Mansfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Geraldean, “Jerri”, Mankins in 2012; brothers, Donald and Ronald; and sister, Pansy.
Morris is survived by his daughters, Jeanette Estrada and husband, Pete, of Grand Prairie, Linda Brewer of Mansfield, Beckie Wach and husband, Bob, of Arlington; brother, Dolan Mankins and wife, Rachel of Bogata; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
