Wayne Marbut

Graveside services for Wayne Marbut, 69, of Rio Vista, Texas will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Monday, June 15, 2020 at Rio Vista Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 4-6:00 P.M., Sunday, June 14, 2020 at Rosser Funeral Home in Cleburne.
Wayne passed away peacefully in Burleson, Texas with his loving wife, Brenda and dear friend, Olivia Grisham by his side. He was born October 14, 1950 in Cleburne, Texas to Genoia (Dollar) and Mack Euel Marbut. He married the love of his life, Brenda Pratt on August 23, 1978.
Wayne was self-employed and did contract labor for the Rio Grange Cemetery Association for the past 30 years, where he was still presently working until his death. He loved hunting and fishing even more than he did working. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Euel and Genoia Marbut and one brother, Calvin Marbut.
Survivors include his beloved wife of almost 42 years, Brenda Marbut; one brother, Timmy Marbut; nieces and nephews, Crystal Harris and husband Bobby of Tennessee, Michael Marbut of Florida, Chelsi Marbut of Tennessee, Portia Olguin and husband Nick of Cleburne, Jennifer, and Angel; numerous great nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
