Funeral services for Margaret Jackson Ashbrook, 82, of Alvarado, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, October 28, 2024, at the Alvarado Church of Christ with Mr. Ian Mostert officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery with Tyler, Ethan Brett, Rayel, Sawyer, Wesley, Daniel, Grant, Levi, and Billy Cole Jackson serving as pallbearers.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, October 27, 2024, at Rosser Funeral Home in Cleburne.
Margaret Jackson Ashbrook, a cherished wife, mother, mother in law, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at her home, at the age of 82. She was born in Burleson, Texas on October 11, 1942, to Mildred (Hopkins) and Raymond Clowdus. Margaret owned Photography by Margaret for many years. On February 13, 2011 Margaret married Aaron Ashbrook in Fort Worth, Texas. She was a member of the Alvarado Church of Christ.
She had a remarkable gift for photography, capturing thousands of life’s most beautiful moments with an artistic eye and a loving heart. Beyond her creative talents, she was deeply devoted to her family, leaving behind a large and loving family that she cared for with endless affection. Her warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit touched everyone around her. Though she is no longer with us, her memory will live on through the countless lives she touched and the treasured moments she preserved through her lens.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Billy Jackson; and son, Brett Jackson.
She is survived by her husband, Aaron Ashbrook of Alvarado; daughter, Terri Jackson Bivins of Grandview, Texas; sons, Scott Jackson and wife, Kerri, of Alvarado, Mark Jackson of Heber Springs, Arkansas, and Shane Jackson and wife, Shelly, of Grapevine, Texas; grandchildren, Tyler Jackson, Katie Woolf and husband, Travis, Lauren Ellis and husband, Mitch, Maggie Williamson, Daniel Jackson, Grant Jackson, Levi Jackson, Billy Cole Jackson, Sarah Jackson, Rachael Jackson, Rayel Jackson and wife, Charity, Shelby Pettis and husband, Desmond, Sawyer Jackson, Wesley Jackson, Makiah Jackson, Sierra Jackson, Sophie Jackson, and Ethan Brett Jackson; great grandchildren, Presley Joyce Sexton, Jaxon Pettis, Kase Pettis, Patton Woolf, Palmer Woolf, Pierson Woolf, Stella Ellis and Skipper Ellis; and other family members and friends.
