Marion "Mac" Edward McLean

A Homegoing Celebration for Marion “Mac” Edward McLean, 77, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, December 21, 2024 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Charles Chandler officiating, assisted by Elder Willie Mitchell. Interment will follow in Rosehill Cemetery with Donald McNeil Jr, Derek Burke, Donovan Burke, Marcus McNeil, Tyrone Nunn and Dimario Mark serving as pallbearers.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 1-2:00 P.M., Saturday, prior to the service.

Mac passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024 in Fort Worth. He was born April 20, 1947 in Brenham, Texas to Robert Lee McLean and Emma Jean Nunn

Mac was a retired Conductor for the Santa Fe Railroad. He married Jane Dawson on January 22, 1993 in Cleburne. He was a member of Emmanuel Temple Outreach Ministry. Mac was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Clyde Nunn, and one grandson, Zayden McLean.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Jane McLean of Cleburne; sons, Paul McLean of Fort Worth, Shea McLean and Markus McLean, both of Cleburne; daughters, Gwen Newsome and husband Tony of Mansfield and Monica Franklin of Gainesville; grandchildren, Kendall and Kaitlyn Newsome; brother, Donald McNeil Sr. and wife Gracie of Cleburne; sisters, Shirley McNeil Sowell of Grand Prairie and Norma Aline McNeil of Dallas; and many other extended family members and friends.
