James “Morgan” Martin, Sr.
Graveside services for James Morgan Martin, Sr., 80, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Rosehill Cemetery with the Rev. Randy McLelland officiating.
The family will receive visitors from 6 – 8 p.m. Monday, August 13, 2012 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Mr. Martin passed away Thursday, August 9, 2012 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born in the Sand Flat Community on April 14, 1932, the son of Oda (Ritchie) and James Walter Martin.
Morgan served his country in the United States Army and was of the Baptist faith. He retired from Texas Power & Light.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Tommie Laramore, Zollie Elrod, Pete Bracken and Walterene McGowan.
Morgan Martin is survived by his wife, Linda French Martin; son, James Martin, Jr., both of Cleburne; granddaughter, Heather Lee Harris of Rowlett, Texas; and great-grandchildren, Jett Harris, Tyler Harris, and Grant Harris.
