Memorial services for Norman Louis Martin, 80, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012 at the Keene Seventh-day Adventist Church. Pastor Larry Moore will officiate. Private interment will be held at Keene Memorial Park.
Pastor Martin passed away Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born in Denver, Colo. on May 6, 1932, to Norma (Acton) and Everett Lewis Martin.
Norman married Irene Corrigan on Jan. 1, 1954 in Ponca City, Okla.
He served his country in the United States Army. Norman was a minister and belonged to the Keene Seventh-day Adventist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Norman Louis Martin is survived by his wife, Irene, of Cleburne; sons, William Martin and wife, Loree, of Keene, Texas and Richard Martin and wife, Michelle, of Houston; daughters, Norene Sofranac and husband, Paul, of Keene, and Lois Serns and husband, Dan, of Irving, Texas; sister, Jean Jones of Virginia; and seven grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the new Keene Elementary CTA School Project in care of Keene Seventh-day Adventist Church, 114 N. Fairview, Keene, TX 76059.
