Grandview—Funeral services for Manuel Martinez, Jr., 56, of Grandview, Texas will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 6, 2011 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Randy McLelland officiating.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, August 5, 2011 at Rosser.
Manuel passed away on Wednesday, August 03, 2011 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born in Poteet, Texas on February 17, 1955, the son of Connie (Garza) and Manuel Martinez, Sr.
Manuel married Nancy Roberts on January 24, 1986 in Jourdanton, Texas. He was employed as a welding superintendent with Trinity Contractors.
He is preceded in death by his nephew, Arthur Flores.
Manuel Martinez, Jr. is survived by his wife, Nancy Martinez of Grandview; parents, Manuel and Connie Martinez of Poteet; sons, Chad Martinez of College Station and Matthew Martinez of Grandview; daughters, Shelby Pyle and husband, Dusty, of Crowley, Yvone Martinez of Harlingen, and Jamie Heger of Round Rock; grandchildren, Meredith Walker, Ricky Martinez, Tori May, Hunter Medina, Clayton Montgomery and Holley Heger; brother, George Martinez of Haltom City; sister, Sylvia Martinez of Poteet; and numerous nieces and nephews.
