Obituary for Rose Marie Mathis (Hill)
A celebration of life for Rose Marie (Hill) Mathis, 41, of Mansfield, Texas will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Fly By Night Cattle Company, 2705 CR 1125, Cleburne, TX 76033.
Ms. Mathis passed away Monday, May 1, 2017 at her home. She was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on May 18, 1975.
Marie was a loving mother to Haley and never missed a chance to let you know how proud she was of her. She was the friend that stood by your side and never let anyone feel alone. Marie was passionate about title work, and took pride in being able to resolve an issue, whether it was Oil & Gas research or cleaning up residential title.
Marie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Marvin and Rose Hill of Irving, Texas.
She is survived by her daughter, Haley Hill, of College Station, Texas; mother, Jan Connaway of Pittsburg, Texas; brother, Steven Connaway of Weatherford, Texas; niece, Sarah Connaway and nephew, Nick Connaway; aunts and uncles, Phillip and Darlene Stubbs of Oklahoma, Marvin and Sheila Hill of Grand Prairie, Texas and James and Kathy Rogers of Pittsburg; aunts, Charlene Hill of Pittsburg and Susan Hill of Laguna Vista, Texas; cousins, Jamie Strunk of Grand Prairie, Scotty Strunk of Estelline, Texas, Ronnie, Sean and Amber Hill of Grand Prairie, Chris and Wesley Stubbs, also of Grand Prairie, Kevin Hill of Washington, and Bonnie Bibeau of New York.
The family wishes to thank Marie’s friends Butch and Joni Sickles for their love and care during this difficult time, and to the many friends that did so much for her during her illness.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made payable to Haley Hill for her use toward payment of tuition and related college expenses.
