Obituary for Norma Jean Mayfield (Cate)
A memorial service for Norma Jean Mayfield, 77, of Joshua, Texas will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday, May 12, 2014 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel.
Ms. Mayfield passed away Sunday, May 4, 2014 at her home. She was born in Hale County, Texas on Mar. 19, 1937, the daughter of Earlene (Goldston) and Louis Theodore Cate.
Ms. Mayfield was a licensed cosmetologist for over 60 years and was a member of Reece Prairie Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Ms. Mayfield is survived by her daughters Celetta Jean Ramsey and husband, William, of Amarillo, Texas and Teri Edmondson and husband, Kendall, of Joshua; grandchildren, Keith Rodgers, Teri Davies, Stephen Edmondson, and Chelsie Edmondson; and six great grandchildren.
