Funeral services for Marita Mae "Rita" McCollum, 82, of Crowley, Texas will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thurday, August 6, 2015 at the First Church of the Nazarene of Cleburne with Pastor Tom McNutt and Pastor Curtis McGehee officiating. Burial will follow in Browns Cemetery in Aledo, Texas.
Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons.
A visitation for family and friends will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Rita passed away Friday, July 31, 2015, in Crowley, Texas. She was born in Ballinger, Texas, the daughter of Carrie Bolles and Wallace Henry Honeycutt.
Rita pastored Wesleyan Holiness Church for 40 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, J.D. McCollum.
Rita is survived by her son, Wayne McCollum and wife June of North Richland Hills, TX; daughters, Janice Ray and husband David of Joshua, TX, Brenda Fennel and husband Ray of Springtown, TX; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews
