Obituary for George S. McCormick
A memorial service for George McCormick, 79, of Grand Prairie, Texas, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Mar. 22, 2015, in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Russ Laughlin officiating.
There is no visitation scheduled.
Mr. McCormick passed away Friday, March 20, 2015, in Keene, Texas. He was born in Dallas, Texas on Jan. 18, 1936, the son of Tommie (Woods) and Leonard Carroll McCormick.
Mr. McCormick served his country in the United States Air Force and was a retired residential plumber.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Betty McCormick; and brothers, Ted, Gerald, David and Ronald.
Mr. McCormick is survived by his sons Tony McCormick of Grand Prairie, Ray McCormick and wife, Laura of Cleburne, Texas, David McCormick and wife, Michelle, of Keene and Jeff McCormick and wife, Pam, of Vance, Alabama; grandchildren, Jason McCormick and wife, Alisha Sharp, Felisha Mink and husband, James, Cameron McCormick, Candace McCormick, Megan McCormick, Madison McCormick, Makenna McCormick, Jake McCormick and Maycie McCormick; great-grandchildren, Johnathan Turner, Brie York, Erica Gallagher, Marissa Anguiano and Briana Sharp.
