Obituary for R. I. "Mack" McCormick
Keene, TX—R. I. “Mack” McCormick, 101, of Keene, Texas passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013.
A private burial was held at Keene Memorial Park Cemetery.
“Mack” McCormick was born in Fort Worth, Texas on April 15, 1911, the son of Mary “Martha” Catherine (Adams) and Doctor Donoho McCormick.
Mack was a painter and was a member of the Keene Seventh-day Adventist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife and mother of his children, Maryetta Cerday McCormick Sheldrew in Nov. 2009; and second wife, Lois McCormick in Aug. of 2003.
Mack McCormick is survived by his son, Merrill G. McCormick, Sr of Fullerton, California and his sons, Merrill Jr and Michael; daughter, Linda Lee Mowery and husband, Donald, of Lawton, Oklahoma and her son, William Platt; and adopted daughter, Joyce Constantine and husband, Emil, of Ohio and their family.
