Obituary for Ted Nelson McNabb
Ted Nelson McNabb went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 24, 2016 surrounded by his family. Ted was born April 4, 1929 in Purdon, Texas to Marvin and Loberta McNabb.
He was employed by the Santa Fe Railroad for over 30 years. Ted served in the United States Army for three years and was stationed on the island of Guam for one of those years.
He loved fishing, coon hunting, gardening, spending time with family and an occasional spirited discussion on politics.
Ted was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Loberta McNabb and wife, Connie McNabb.
He is survived by his daughters, Roanna Timmins and husband, Paul, of Cleburne, Texas and LaDonna Anthony and husband, Ben, of Fort Worth, Texas; grandson, Ty Timmins and wife, Rachel, of Dallas, Texas; and great granddaughter, Ella Sue, of Dallas.
Ted is remembered for his generosity and support to many individuals throughout his life.
The family will have a private memorial at Rosehill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Community Hospice, 1208 W. Henderson Street #B, Cleburne, TX or to the charity of your choice.
