Gail Ann McQueen (Rupprecht)

Memorial services for Gail Ann McQueen, 67, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 18, 2018 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Coleman officiating.
Gail was born September 17, 1951 in Adams, Massachusetts, the daughter of Evelyn (Martel) and Joseph Rupprecht. She and passed away on December 13, 2018 in Mansfield, Texas.
Gail attended Chisolm Trail Academy in Keene, Texas and was a resident of Keene and Cleburne for most of her adult life. She was a loving wife, caring mother, grandmother, aunt and daughter. Gail was a skilled seamstress, quilter, painter and crafts person, who loved to create paintings or blankets and often would produce clothing. She was a tough woman that would take on any task.
Gail had several jobs throughout her life including phlebotomist, dental hygienist, owner of a Nature’s Nugget Health food store, caregiver, inside sales for Tree of Life, and call center assistant at Radio shack. Of all the jobs she had, the one she loved most of all was Mother and Grandmother, caring for her family.
Gail loved meeting new people and learning about their life. She would always talk about all the interesting people she had met. Throughout her life she treated everyone with respect and empathy, seeing the best in everyone she came into contact with, bringing out the best in them as well.
Gail was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Evelyn l Rupperecht; daughter, Tracie Lynn McQueen; husband, Ernest McQueen; and brother, Joe Rupprecht.
She is survived by sons, Eric McQueen and wife, Teresa and Cody McQueen; brother; Kurt Rupprecht and wife, Jan; sisters, Mary Whelpley and husband, Bill, Nancy Grinder and Patricia Beaver and husband, Mark; grandchildren, Brittnay, Jacob, Aaron, Ryan, Miranda, Mason and Tristan; and great grandchildren, Lilly and Aria; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
