Obituary for Loyd V. McQueen
Loyd V. McQueen, 69, passed away Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013 in Fort Worth, Texas. Interment at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery will be held at a later date.
Mr. McQueen was born in Kirksville, MO on July 24, 1943, the son of Retta V. (Partin) and Raymond M. McQueen.
He served his country in the United States Navy and later served as a Dallas police officer for over five years.
Mr. McQueen was also a long haul truck-driver. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Mr. McQueen is survived by his mother, Retta McQueen of Fort Worth; brothers, Harold McQueen and wife, Lene, of Australia and Ronnie McQueen and wife, Kaye, of Granbury, Texas; and sister, Violet Stanfield and husband, Jay, of Cleburne.
