Funeral services for Matthew Burns Mead, 24, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 7, 2018, at the Church of the Holy Comforter with Father Christopher Woodall officiating.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 6, 2018 at Rosser Funeral Home with The Rosary beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Serving as pallbearers will be Colin Richter, Morgan Richter, Hayden Richter, Gabe Boley, Colin Finnell, Robert De La Rosa, Gerrado Castillo and Jay Garcia. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard McHenry, Mike Shaw, Charles Conant and Sandy Sims.
Matthew passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2018 at his home. He was born May 24, 1993 in Jacksonville, North Carolina to Kara Paige (Lanford) and Brandon Burns Mead. Matthew was a student and a member of the Church of the Holy Comforter.
He is survived by his parents, Kara and Brandon “Brad” Mead of Cleburne; brother, Reagan Mead and sister, Raney Mead, both of Cleburne; grandparents, Guy and Cynthia Mead of Mobile, Alabama, Joe and Sherry Boone of Branson, Colorado and Dick Lanford of Cleburne; aunt, Laurie Mead of Fort Worth, Texas; uncle, Todd Lanford and wife, Joy of Irving, Texas; cousin, Kynnleigh Lanford also of Irving; and a host of other relatives and friends.
