Obituary for Frances Jane Meadows (Reynolds)
Frances Jane (Reynolds) Meadows, 91, of Godley, Texas passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2017 in Fort Worth, Texas.
A visitation will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, June 9, 2017 at Rosser Funeral Home in Cleburne, Texas.
Mrs. Meadows will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia.
She was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas on December 10, 1925, the daughter of Gladys (Fulcher) and Robert O. Reynolds.
Mrs. Meadows, who had a lifelong love of plants, was an avid gardener and very active in botanical organizations. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family.
Mrs. Meadows was preceded in death by parents; husband, Oliver in 2005; and daughter, Susanne Meadows.
She is survived by her daughter, Sylvia Blankenship; sister, Joann Traver and husband, George, of Austin, Texas; grandchildren, Lee Blankenship and John Blankenship; and several nieces and nephews.
