Raye Nell Melson

A memorial service for Raye Nell Melson, 77, of Cleburne, Texas will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, October 30, 2020 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Payne officiating; assisted by the Rev. Brooks Monk.
There is no visitation scheduled.
Ms. Melson passed away Monday October 26, 2020 in Fort Worth, Texas, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Leon, Oklahoma on December 25, 1942, to her parents, Lorene (Hyman) and Earvin Melson.
Raye had a love for reading, especially her Bible, in which she was dedicated to reading every day. She loved listening to music and watching old movies. She loved going church when she was still able to attend.
Ms. Melson is preceded in death by her parents, Earvin and Lorene Melson; daughter, Lisa Melson; sister, Rachel Medford; and brother, James Melson.
She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Simmons and husband, David; son, Dewayne McCullough; son, Kenny McCullough and wife, Stephanie; brothers, Valton Melson and wife, Jimann, Bud Melson, Larry Melson and fiancée, Jannie Flippin, and Gary Melson and wife, Debbie; grandchildren, Tori Joslin, Joshua Simmons, Christian Simmons, Alton McCullough, Trae Walston, Halie Croley, Jesie Self, Aubrey (Colby) Pippen, and Kelli McCullough; great grandchildren, Cash, Paisley, Grayson, Lyla, Peyton, Maddox, and Everley; and nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
