Gregory Eugene Meyer “Greg”, of Grandview, Texas passed away on January 2, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert E. Meyer and Shirley E. Meyer; his brother-in-law, Richard Petty; nephew, Ricky Petty; and niece, Tina Petty.
Left to cherish his memory are Shelley Brady, Shelley’s parents, Charles and Eva Davis; uncle and aunt, Ricky and Wanda Jewell; Greg’s brother, Dale and Kim Meyer; sisters, Leslie Petty and Kimberly Wilson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Greg was born on February 11, 1966. He was raised in Lakewood, California, moving to Texas when he was 17 years old.
On April 20, 2000, Greg met the woman who would become his best friend, soul mate, and love of his life, Shelley Brady. He became a member of the Brady and Davis families immediately.
Greg ran Action Automotive in Grandview, and was known for helping folks near and far with vehicle problems. Greg collected stamps, Zippo lighters and Hot Wheels. He loved Nascar.
Everywhere Greg went, he drew people to him with his joy of life, friendliness, ready laugh, willingness to help, and knowledge.
We will all cherish the special memories we have of him. He took a piece of our hearts when he left much too soon. We are now blessed with a guardian angel.
A celebration of Greg’s life will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 2:00 P.M., at New Heart Family Worship Center in Cleburne, Texas.
