Michael Joslin

Graveside services for Michael "Mike" Joslin, 77, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Greenacres Memorial Park.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at Rosser Funeral Home.

Mike Joslin was born December 3, 1946, in Cleburne, Texas, to Elvis Lowell and Evelyn Lorece Joslin. He graduated from Cleburne High School in 1965. The following year he married Sybil Lightfoot on October 28, 1966. He was drafted into the U.S. Army and served from 1966-1968. Following his military service, he returned to Texas and earned an Associate Degree from Texas State Technical Institute in 1971. He and Sybil had 3 children: Scott, Chris and Cindia. They spent their younger years in Corpus Christi before returning home to Cleburne in 1986. He worked for the City of Cleburne and retired as the Superintendent at the Incinerator. Mike was a man of few words, but he loved his family and friends and could always be counted on when needed. He will be dearly missed by all those who loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elvis Lowell Joslin and Evelyn Lorece Joslin.

He is survived by his wife, Sybil Joslin, children, Scott, Chris, and Cindia Joslin; brother, Dan Joslin and wife, Cheryl; grandchildren, Shelby Joslin and wife, Tori, Sunni Holloway and husband, JR, Sydney Joslin, John Joslin, Lily Joslin, Jax Joslin, and Ryan Winsett; and great grandchildren, Maci, Cash, and Presley.
