Obituary for Caleb H. Midkiff

Caleb Hugh Midkiff,
Grandview, TX—Funeral services for Caleb Hugh Midkiff, 13, of Grandview, Texas will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012 at Travis Avenue Baptist Church, 800 W. Berry Street in Fort Worth, Texas. The Rev. Randy McLelland will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Fort Worth.
The family will receive visitors from 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012 at Cleburne Bible Church, 930 N. Nolan River Road in Cleburne, Texas.
Serving as pallbearers will be members of Scout Troop #711. Honorary pallbearers will be the Cleburne Christian Academy Varsity and Jr. High football teams.
Caleb passed away on Friday, Nov. 23, 2012 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born in Fort Worth on Jan. 22, 1999, the son of Debra (Wilson) and Mark Midkiff.
Caleb was home schooled and attended Travis Avenue Fine Arts Academy and took classes with Classical Conversation. He was a member of Scout Troop #711 and performed in productions with The Greater Cleburne Carnegie Players, Casa Manana, Plaza Theater, and The Promise.
Caleb attended Cleburne Bible Church. To quote one of Caleb’s favorite songs, “All you need is love...”
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Cleo Wilson.
Caleb is survived by his parents, Mark and Debra Midkiff of Grandview, sister, Hannah Midkiff of Cleburne; brothers, Markus Midkiff of Nashville, Tenn., Aaron, Benjamin and David Midkiff, all of Grandview; grandparents, Ruth Wilson of Clinton, Missouri and Noble and Elizabeth Midkiff of Longview, Texas; nieces, Eloise Hagood and Piper Robinson; several other family members and many friends.
