Edgar Miller

Graveside services for Edgar Leo “Doc” Miller, Sr., 88, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Rosehill Cemetery with Chaplain Don Anderson officiating.
A visitation will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, July 20, 2018 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Doc passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at his home. He was born in Marysville, Texas on May 15, 1930, the son of Cressie Lou (Anglin) and Henry Winston Miller.
Doc married Jimmie Cogdill in Carlsbad, NM on March 17, 1950. He was a jack of all trades and could fix most anything. He drove a truck for most of his working life until his retirement.
Doc is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Pat Dunham Pete Miller (his twin brother), Tough Miller and Essie Huneycutt.
He is survived by his wife, Jimmie Miller; children, Shirley Nicholson, Janice Miller, Edgar Miller, Jr., and wife, Evie, Bobby Miller and Diane Newell and husband, Johnny; brother, Sam Miller; sister, Jane Lee and husband, Joe; nine grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
