Memorial services celebrating the life of Loraine Minton, 56, will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, September 7, 2019 at the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel in Cleburne. Pastor Lance Perkins will officiate.
Loraine flew directly from the arms of her loving children into the arms of her loving God on September 3rd, 2019.
Loraine had a large family and many careers without ever going far from where she was born on October 4, 1962, because she loved her Texas home.
She was an angler, writer, mailer of cards, reminder of dates and anniversaries, sender of sappy texts, and most definitely not a professional driver. Without a doubt, Loraine would describe her greatest contribution in this world as a devoted Nanna to her grandchildren, Brayden, Grace, Gauge, Luke and Faith, all of whom are world class anglers as a result of her efforts. She is preceded in death by her husband, Chuck Ford and mother, Judy Minton.
She is survived by father, Joe Minton; partner in crime, Peggy Harkins; sister, Donna Williams; best friend, Kent Halford; children, Brent, Trent, Tichelle, and Meagan; numerous loved nieces and nephews; and a pile of relatives too long to list.
Loraine enjoyed volunteer work. For those wanting to offer support, she would challenge you to go volunteer at an AA, mental health, homeless outreach, church group, or just find someone you can help.
