Augusta Montes (Romero)

Funeral Mass for Augusta Romero Montes, 62, of Everman, Texas will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Friday, January 29, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cleburne. Father Sergio Rizo will officiate. Burial will follow at Blanton Cemetery in Hill County. Serving as pallbearers will be her six sons.
Visitation will be held from 6-8:00 P.M., Thursday, January 28, 2021at Rosser Funeral Home in Cleburne.
Augusta Romero Montes passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021 in Fort Worth. She was born May 6, 1958 in Itatlaxco, Nicolas, Flores, Mexico to Florentina (Pintado) and Augustin Romero. She married Rodolfo Montes on August 19, 1980 in Granbury.
Mrs. Montes was a homemaker. She loved spending time with her family and friends and was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church in Fort Worth. Augusta was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Irene Romero.
Survivors include her beloved husband, Rodolfo Montes; sons, Rodolfo Montes, Jr. of Fort Worth, Benjamin Montes of Burleson, Emanuel Montes and wife, Regan of Burleson, Scott Montes and wife, Nicole of Godley, Daniel Montes and wife, Karla, and Dennis Montes, all of Fort Worth; daughter, Flor Guerra and husband, Tony of Fort Worth; 13 grandchildren; brothers, Amancio Romero and Alfonso Romero; sisters, Alicia Romero Elizalde and husband, Leobigilde and Marcelo Romero; and a host of other relatives and friends.
