Sue Doss Montgomery
Sue Doss Montgomery, 61, of Cleburne, Texas, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2015 after a courageous battle with breast cancer. A celebration of her life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 21, 2015 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel in Cleburne.
There is no visitation scheduled.
Sue was born on Nov. 15, 1953 in Mineral Wells, Texas to Eva Janelle (Burns) and Hilliard Brooks Doss.
Sue married Ron Montgomery April 19, 1985 in Cleburne.
She was a deputy clerk with the Johnson County Clerk’s office and was of the Baptist faith.
Sue was preceded in death by her father, H. B. Doss and sister, Becky Mentzer.
She is survived by her husband, Ron Montgomery of Cleburne; mother, Janelle Doss of Cleburne; daughter, Christie Crawford Steffey and husband, Damon, of Burleson; grandchildren, Cade Siggers, Hayden, Jadyn and Logan Steffey; sisters, Dee Dee Lyon and husband, Dennis, of Burleson and Lori Russell of Scottsdale, Arizona; brothers, Ronnie Doss and wife, Sharon, of Clifton and Bobby Doss and wife, Linda, of Kemp; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made the Eckstein Center, Hospice of the Valley, 9808 N. 95th Street, Scottsdale, AZ 85258.
