Our good friend and loving father, Donald Eugene Moore, passed away on October 31, 2020.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, November 13, 2020 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ken Coleman officiating.
Donald was born in Manila, Philippines on April 29, 1958, the son of Don C. Moore and Elaine A. Moore. He was married to Karen Moore for more than 27 years and they had many good years together.
Donald studied at Texas A&M before joining the US Marine Corps. He received a disability discharge after 13 years when he came home from courageously serving in the Gulf War.
Donald made friends wherever he went and wore many hats including Search and Rescue (Yuma, AZ), U-Haul store and field manager (AZ, TX), and Oil Field Mud Analyst.
He excelled at all he did, but the one thing he excelled at the most was the job of being a father. Donald loved his children and was more tender with them than anyone thought possible. He will be sorely missed by many. It is with tears that we say “Good Bye” to a truly great man.
Donald is survived by his wife, Karen; his two lovely daughters, Michelle Moore and Victoria Anderson and husband, Matthew Anderson; brother, William Moore and wife, Sherry; and nephew, Trent.
Rosser Funeral Home does not have an onsite florist, for floral tributes; please call a local florist for delivery.
