Donald Lee (Pete) Morris
Graveside services for Donald Lee (Pete) Morris, 82, of Burleson, Texas will be conducted at
3 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017 at Rio Vista Cemetery. The Rev. Ben Westcott will officiate. The family will receive visitors 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2017 at Rosser Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers will be Tyler Morris, Cameron Haddock, Blake Haddock, Lacy Clewis, and Ciara Haddock.
Pete went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Dec. 23, 2017 at home surrounded by his family. He was born March 20, 1935 in Cleburne, Texas to Lorene (Prince) and William (Bill) Morris. Pete served his country in the United States Army. He married Nature Archer on Dec. 6, 1958 in Weatherford, Texas. Pete was retired from Walls Manufacturing where he was a supervisor in the receiving department.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Nature Morris; son, Larry Morris; granddaughter, Brittany Morris; three brothers; and two sisters.
He is survived by his son, Gary Morris and wife, Dianna, of Rio Vista; daughter, Misty Haddock and husband, Brian, of Burleson; grandchildren, Tyler Morris, Lacy Clewis, Cameron, Blake and Ciara Haddock; great-grandchildren, Jarrett and Macie Morris, Carter Haddock; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
