Obituary for Elizabeth Freda Murphy (Dunnam)
Funeral services for Elizabeth Freda Murphy, 80, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 21, 2012 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. John Hall will officiate. Burial will follow in Cleburne Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 12 Noon – 2:00 p.m. before the service.
Mrs. Murphy passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2012 in Cleburne. She was born in Laurel, Miss. on September 21, 1931, the daughter of Freda and Collie Dunnam.
Elizabeth and John Murphy married on July 18, 1987.
She was a retired teacher and was a member of Field Street Baptist Church.
Mrs. Murphy was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Mary Catherine Dunnam.
She is survived by her husband, John Murphy of Cleburne; son, Charles McVay and wife, Randi, of Centennial, Colo.; daughters, Ann McVay and husband, Bob Martin, of Allen, Texas and Ellen McVay; sister, Carolyn Corley and husband, Gaston, all of St. Petersburg, Florida; granddaughters, Jacquelyn Purdy of Austin, Texas and Abigail McVay of Centennial, Colo.
