A funeral service for Nancy Ann Youngblood Holland, 88, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 2:00 P.M, Thursday, April 6, 2023 at Field Street Baptist Church with Dr. John Hall officiating. Interment will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Jonathan Morrow, Nolan Holland, Clayton Ingram, Jr., Chris Jackson, Josh Jackson, and Josiah Jackson. Honorary pallbearers will be Clayton Ingram, Wyatt Ingram and Caiden Kunce.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8:00 P.M., Wednesday April 5, 2023 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel.
Nancy Ann Youngblood Holland passed away Saturday, April 1, 2023 in Cleburne. She was born April 19, 1934 to Earnest Franklin Youngblood and Lela Devier Buchanan Youngblood in Waxahachie, Texas.
Nancy graduated from Cleburne High School in 1951 and attended North Texas State University from 1952-1954. She married the love of her life, (whom she met on the school bus), George Clayton Holland, Jr. on June 28, 1952 at Field Street Baptist Church in Cleburne.
Mrs. Holland was retired from Cleburne Independent School after 21 years of service, working as a Secretary/Administrative Assistant at Irving and Cooke Elementary.
She was a longtime member of Field Street Baptist Church, serving on various committees and service groups. Nancy served in the children's department as a Sunday School teacher and served as a co-chair, along with her husband for the Touching Tomorrow Today building campaign for the new Children's building. Her passion for sewing led her to serve with the Threads of Love group, making clothes and "Lovie Dolls" for newborns.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, George Clayton Holland; son, Clay Frank Holland; daughter, June Elaine Holland; daughter, Sherri Holland Morrow; granddaughter, Jennifer Ann Morrow Jackson; brother-in-law, Dean Scott; and sister, Doris Youngblood Scott.
Survivors include her children, Vicki Simpson, David Holland and wife, Nancy, Leann Ingram and husband, Ray, Murray Holland and wife, Sandy; son-in-law, Wendell Morrow; grandchildren, Jonathan Morrow and wife, Gayla, Clayton Ingram, Lauren Kunce, Natalie Holland, Nolan Holland and wife, Brittney, and Chris Jackson and wife, Mindi; great grandchildren, Mara Jackson, Josh Jackson, Josiah Jackson, Meghan Jackson, Annabelle Morrow, Lillian "Lilly" Morrow, Samuel Morrow, Haylee Ingram, Makala Ingram, Clayton Ingram, Jr., Wyatt Ingram, Caiden Kunce, Addison Kunce, Kamlyn Kunce, Emma Holland, and Zoey Holland; nephews, Larry Scott and wife, Prudence and Don Scott and wife, Liz; niece, Holly Holland; many other family and friends.
