Obituary for Melva Joan Noland (Pafford)
Melva Joan Noland, 80, of Stephenville, Texas passed away on Monday, Sept. 22, 2014 in Hamilton, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Erath Garden of Memories in Stephenville with Robert Noland officiating.
There is no visitation scheduled.
Joan was born in Mills County, Texas on June 8, 1934, the daughter of Willie Lois (Boyd) and Melvin Marion Pafford. She was a retired secretary with Stephenville Bank and Trust and was a member of Green’s Creek Baptist Church.
Joan enjoyed painting and also loved to sew.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fred Noland; and son, David Noland.
Joan Noland is survived by her son Robert Noland and wife, Robin, of Franklin, Tenn.; grandchildren, Rhett and Rheed Noland; sisters, Peggy Sanders and husband, Roger and Patty Roberts, all of Mullin, Texas and Jean Kirby and husband, Everett, of Lometa, Texas.
