Donald Ownbey

Funeral services for Donald Lee Ownbey, 68, of Whitney, Texas will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 2021 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. DeWaun Ashley officiating. Burial will follow at Greenacres Memorial Park.
A visitation for family and friends will be conducted from 6- 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Donald Ownbey passed away Monday, December 27, 2021 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born in Cleburne, Texas on April 1, 1953, the son of Wanda (Calvert) and R. L. Ownbey.
Donald was an engineer with Santa Fe Railroad and was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church.
He is survived by his mother, Wanda Malone and step-father, Rick Malone of Cleburne; son, Kevin Ownbey of Fort Worth, Texas; daughter, Lisa Ownbey and husband, Brodie; granddaughter, McKinley Garcia, all of Roanoke, Texas; sister, Gay Herrin and husband, David; niece, Lauren Herrin; and great niece, McKenzie McWilliams, all of Cleburne.
