Patrick Lawrence

Patrick William Lawrence, 77, of Cleburne, Texas, peacefully departed this life on March 15, 2023. He first graced the world with his presence in La Porte, Texas, on April 13, 1945. Born to Naomi Axley-Lawrence and Wayne Lawrence, he will be lovingly remembered.

Patrick was a self-made man who founded a successful bricklaying business before starting his own used car lot. He had a natural talent for business and a knack for making the most of every opportunity that came his way.

In his free time, Patrick loved nothing more than spending time with his grandchildren on his ranch, where he enjoyed the peacefulness of the countryside. He took great pride in the hard work and care that he put into his ranch, and loved sharing it with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Mike Lawrence.

He is survived by his sons, Patrick Lawrence and Michael Lawrence and wife, Janelle, all of Cleburne; and grandchildren, Madalyn Lawrence and Bradyn Lawrence.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 20, 2023, in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bill Kilgore officiating.

Patrick's legacy will live on through his strong work ethic, his love of cars, his devotion to his family, and his passion for life. He will be missed dearly by those who knew him, but he'll be forever remembered as a man who lived life on his own terms and left his mark on the world.
