Dorothy Pearce

Funeral services for Dorothy May (Shoemaker) Pearce will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Don Case officiating. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery.
There is no set visitation time.
Dorothy was born on November 27, 1941, the youngest daughter of Joe Bradford Shoemaker and Marcille (Hill) Smith. She was married to Lloyd Randall Pearce, who passed away in Oct. of 2012.
Dorothy was educated as a nutritionist and was a long term employee of the Walls Regional Hospital. She spent the majority of her life in the Cleburne area.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ricky Joe Shoemaker; and sister, Carol Ann Harlow.
She is survived by her children, Randy Wayne Pearce and Gaylynn Mae Pearce, both of Cleburne; eight siblings, Don Case and wife, Mary Lynn, of Granbury, Texas, Lula Frances Strickland of Glen Rose, Texas, Mike Case and wife, Karen, of Granbury, Cindy Stewart and husband, Mark, of Katy, Texas, Laney Smith and wife, Kathy, of Cleburne and Melissa Graser and husband, John, of Canyon, Texas.
Dorothy was also a wonderful Grandmother of four and Great Grandmother of two.
