Jack M. Pediford
Military graveside services for Jack M. Pediford, 89, of Marble Falls, Texas will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 23, 2012 at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. The Rev. Charles Payne will officiate.
There is no visitation scheduled.
Mr. Pediford passed away on Friday, July 13, 2012 in Marble Falls. He was born in Palestine, Texas on February 26, 1923 to Julia (Youngblood) and Alonzo Pediford.
Jack married Charlott Louise Crawford on December 31, 1943 in Dallas, Texas. She preceded him in death in December of 2009.
He proudly served his country in the United States Army Air Forces during World War II. He was a retired flight line inspector with LTV.
Jack was ordained a Baptist minister at the First Baptist Church of Fort Worth on July 13, 1950 and was a missionary pilot.
He received a Th. D. from Trinity Valley Baptist College and Seminary and a Th. M. from Bible Baptist Seminary in Fort Worth. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Mr. Pediford was also preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert and sister, Hazel.
He is survived by his children, Larry G. Pediford, Grady M. Pediford, Lon R. Pediford and wife, Madeline, C. Irene Bradley and husband, Jack and Sidney L. Pediford; niece, Sheila Wilson LaFerney; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
