Obituary for Edith Ann Petty (Wells)
Funeral services for Edith Petty, 78, of Alvarado, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 30, 2015 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Bryan Patrick will officiate.
Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Monday, June 29, 2015 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Edith passed away Thursday, June 25, 2015 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born September 16, 1936 in Arkansas to Edith Jettie (Seamans) and Earl Clyde Wells.
She was a retired nurse’s aid. Edith loved her family especially her grandchildren.
Edith was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Petty; one sister and three brothers.
She is survived by her sons, Scott Petty and wife, Martha, of Grandview, Texas and Jon Petty and wife, Daisy, of Cambodia; daughters, Paula, Patricia and Linda; brothers, Earl, Alfred and Jeff Wells; grandchildren, Ronald Petty, Jr., Veronica, Eric, Kou, Josh, and Julius.
