Obituary for Charles E. Potter

Charles Edward “Chuck” Potter passed away peacefully, surrounded by his children and family, on Jul. 1, 2014. Chuck was born on Feb. 4, 1946. His presence in our life is a gift we will always be thankful for.
Chuck was a longtime resident of Cleburne, Texas. He was the owner and operator of the Redwood Restaurant in Cleburne for several years and as a younger man played sax in his band, “Little Joe and the Mustangs”.
Chuck had a full life being father to seven children and grandfather to 11 grandchildren. He was a brother to two sisters and one brother. Chuck enjoyed cooking, hunting and fishing. He always took time to let us all know we were loved by him.
A memorial gathering will be held at Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne on Aug. 30, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the gravesite of his mother, Anna Farris (Gray) Potter.
