Graveside service for Charles F. Potts, 80, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013 at Greenacres Mausoleum. The family will receive visitors 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 25, 2013 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Charles passed away on Friday, Nov. 22, 2013 in Cleburne, Texas. He was born Sept. 1, 1933 in Johnson County to Frances (Fisher) and Charlie Wallace Potts. Charles served his country in the United States Army. He married the love of his life, Judy Richards, on Feb. 1, 1957 in Cleburne, Texas. Charles was self employed as a painter. He was a member of the American Legion Post 50. Charles loved life. One of his greatest enjoyments was his love for the outdoors, which included gardening, hunting, fishing and golfing.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Fred Potts.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Potts of Cleburne; son, Randy Potts of Cleburne; daughter, Karen Potts of Cleburne; brother, Dan Elzig and wife Sandy of San Andreas, CA.; brother-in-law, Kenneth Richards of Joshua; sister-in-law, Jodi Potts of Cleburne; grandchildren, Justin Potts of Rio Vista and Christopher Potts of Arlington.
