Fred Pruitt

Graveside services for Fred Pruitt, 83, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, April 27, 2015 at Rosehill Cemetery. The Rev. John Turner will officiate, assisted by the Rev. O. L. Rodgers.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, April 26, 2015, at Rosser Funeral Home.
Mr. Pruitt passed away Friday, April 24, 2015 at his home. He was born in Alvarado, Texas on February 19, 1932, the son of Isabell (Autry) and John Pruitt.
Fred married Ruth Crocker on May 16, 1952 in Cleburne. He was a cement contractor for over 30 years and was a member of Buel Baptist Church. Fred loved his family and his church family was also very important to him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers and four sisters.
Fred Pruitt is survived by his wife, Ruth Pruitt of Cleburne; son, Bobby Pruitt and wife, Maxine, of Blue Eye, Missouri; daughters, Cindy Conner and husband, David of Cleburne and Fredda Hynson and husband, Allen of Venus, Texas; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
