Cleburne, TX—A memorial service celebrating the life of Paul Allen Rader, 53, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, October 7, 2011, at Cleburne Bible Church. Dean Elliott will officiate. Interment will be held at 4 p.m. at the Assumption Cemetery in Austin,
Texas. A viewing will be held at the cemetery from 3:00 – 3:45 before the burial.
There is no visitation or viewing scheduled at Rosser Funeral Home.
Paul Allen Rader passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2011, in Fort Worth, Texas.
He was born in El Campo, Texas on July 7, 1958, the son of Audrey (Quick) and Clifford Rader.
Paul married Francine Rasberry on January 1, 1980 in Austin, Texas, where they met Christ, and each other, through Young Life.
He was a maintenance supervisor for 25 years with Sachem, and an active member of Cleburne Bible Church. Paul loved his Lord and his family. He enjoyed camping, hiking, and being outside in God’s creation. His favorite times were those spent with family and his many friends.
Paul’s servant’s heart was apparent in his service to others, here at home and through his participation in several mission trips to Guatemala and Mexico. He always lent a hand to anyone who needed it.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ted Rader.
He is survived by his wife, Fran Rader; son, Justin Rader, both of Cleburne; daughters, Abbie Thornton and husband, Casey, of Fort Bragg, NC, Audrey Rader and Kathleen Rader, both of Cleburne; brothers, Gary Rader and wife, Brenda, of Boston, MA and Johnny Rader and wife, Diana, of Austin; sisters, Patricia Navarro and husband, Jesse, of Ignacio, CO and Bobbie Davis and husband, Lee, of Magnolia, TX.
