Funeral services for former Cleburne Mayor, Ted Reynolds, 71, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 28, 2021 at The Heights Church with Ben Oefinger officiating. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery.
A visitation will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, August 27, 2021 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ross Taylor, Joey Thompson, Bryan King, Sergio Razo, Steve Tomancak, and Randy Hartwell. Honorary pallbearers are the employees of Westhill Construction.
Ted Reynolds passed away Monday, August 23, 2021 at his home. He was born in Alpine, Texas on May 9, 1950, the son of Mary Elizabeth (Mauck) and James A. Reynolds.
Ted married Angela Nickell on August 19, 1981 in Cleburne. He was the owner and operator of Westhill Construction and served as Mayor of Cleburne from 2004 -2010.
Ted was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Angela Reynolds of Cleburne; sons, James Reynolds of Canyon Lake, Texas, Chad Reynolds and wife, Candace, of New Braunfels, Texas, Matthew Reynolds and wife, Julie, and Max Reynolds, all of Cleburne; brother, Charles Reynolds and wife, Tammy, of Burleson, Texas; sister, Susie Satterwhite and husband, Randy, of Tow, Texas; aunt, Charlotte Thompson of Kerrville, Texas; grandchildren, Nolan Reynolds and wife, Amber, Clay Reynolds, Jake Reynolds, Cali Reynolds, James Reynolds, Jr., Cole Reynolds, Clayton West, Anthony Thompson, and Cora Reynolds; great grandchildren, Kason Young and Wyatt Reynolds; and other family members and many friends.
Memorials may be made in Ted’s name to Johnson County Child Advocacy Center, 910 Granbury St., Cleburne, TX 76033 or to the Ty Taylor Scholarship Fund, 505 N. Ridgeway, Ste. 100, Cleburne, TX 76033.
