Rick Allen passed away in North Carolina on Tuesday, August 23, 2022. He was born to Earl and Betty Inez (Burnett) Allen. He was a member of Nolan River Road Baptist Church.
If you were lucky enough to know Rick then you "already know". He was such a good person, so kind and willing to help others. He would give you the shirt off his back.
Rick had a certain aura or confidence about him, that when he was around you it felt like everything was going to be okay. Everyone loved him...from kids to ladies , he was the "favorite uncle", the life of the party, and an awesome father. He loved so many others like his own. The love Rick had for his grand-babies was undeniable. Never goodbye, but always see you again.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Benny Allen, Lynda Ward, Tommy Allen, Luke Allen, Cindy Allen, Randy Allen, and Vicki Hopper.
Survivors include his wife, Tracie Allen; sons, Randy Allen and wife, Carlie, Ben Allen and wife, Shelley, and Gabe Allen; grandchildren, Alexis, Skylar, Billy Jo, Cody, Gunnar, Maddie, and Able Allen; siblings, Wanda Hollingsworth, Sarah Beth "Becky" Davis and husband, Bobby, and Ramona Allen; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other family members and friends.
